The Creative Arts Center in Bonham is issuing a call for art for the month of May. The themes are Feminine Energy and Artist Choice. We are especially seeking artwork that illustrates and celebrates mothers, women, girls, sisters and/or feminine energy. As always, we also welcome Artist Choice of artwork. Artist members of the Creative Arts Center can submit up to 3 pieces of art at no extra charge. Non-members will be charged $30 per person for entries.
Artwork will be accepted at the center starting on April 23 at 200 W. 5th in Bonham during normal business hours (Tuesday – Friday 10 am to 5 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to noon). Artwork is due by May 1.
All artists and the public are encouraged to come to the opening night reception, which will be come and go from 4-6 pm on Thursday, May 2. Enjoy light refreshments, visit with the artists and celebrate the new artwork. Chi Lambda is generously sponsoring this opening night reception. Chi Lambda is a non-profit women’s philanthropy group that supports the children and youth of Fannin County.
