The Creative Arts Center in Bonham is excited to bring back the monthly Art Exhibit Opening Receptions. These come and go receptions will be held from 4-6 pm on the first Friday of every month at the art center and serve as a celebration of the artwork and the artists.

“We are also excited to partner with Bethlehem Baptist Church to include a special Black History Presentation at the opening reception,” said Sandy Barber, the new Director of the Creative Arts Center. This program will start at about 5:15 pm.

Artwork is due by 5 pm on February 1 and all artists are strongly encouraged to attend the opening reception. Submissions are accepted during the center’s regular business hours, Tuesday -Friday 10 am to 5 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 12 noon.

Regular exhibit entry is free for Artist Members of the Creative Arts Center or $30 per artist for Non-Members. There is a limit of three pieces of art per artist per month. The center welcomes new artist members.
