About the Artist:
Michelle Haynes has a passion for creating beauty from the unexpected. With 10 years of experience as a private tutor, Michelle brings a wealth of teaching expertise to her workshops. Her love for the interplay of light and wind in natural settings inspires her work with suncatchers and kinetic sculptures.
In Michelle’s words: “There’s an easy happiness to watching the mobiles do their thing amongst the grasses and branches. They catch the light just right and mix with all the colors from the plants around them. When the wind kicks up a bit, it’s like everything comes alive.”

What to Bring:
IMPORTANT – please watch this video: https://estellasheshop.com/art-class-prep-video
Gather a small collection of items such as:
- Bring 15-24 inches of any kind and mix of looped chain, especially broken necklaces and bracelets. A variety of sizes is fun. If you can’t thread the end of a large paperclip through the links, the chain is too delicate.
- Bring 5-20 charms of any kind and mix (earrings, keychains, dog ID tags, keys, bells, etc.)
- Bring 5-20+ medium or large beads. They can be on a necklace or loose.
- Bring reading glasses if needed!
Materials Provided:
Basic jewelry making tools, jump rings, wires, and a pre-drilled wooden dowel for the top piece.
Lunch is also provided.
