Think you can’t draw?! Join artist and volunteer Wayne Smith as he leads youth and adult students ages 7 and up through a comprehensive course on spatial relationships titled “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain”.

Through a series of exercises provided by the curriculum, students will learn to see the relationships between positive and negative space; this works by giving the left brain a problem it cannot solve and gives way to a right brain shift. If the right brain can see a shape, you can draw the shape!

This 7-week series beginning on January 7th continues on Saturday mornings at 10:30am through February 18th. Both members of the Creative Arts Center and the general public are welcome to attend. Space is limited so make your reservation soon; cost is $70 for members or $100 for non-members and scholarships are available for those in need. Memberships begin at just $65/year!

Please contact the Creative Arts Center at [email protected] or call 903-640-2196 for more details, to make a reservation, or for information to apply for a scholarship.
