Music in the Garden

What is North Texas Giving Day?

North Texas Giving Day is an online giving extravaganza for our whole region that is organized by Communities Foundation of Texas. This year, North Texas Giving Day is on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 6 am to midnight.  Early giving is from September 1-18. More than 3,000 nonprofits are participating in this day, including about a dozen based in Fannin County.  Each nonprofit raises funds to support their mission. The platform makes it simple and easy to give to all of your favorite charities!

Sept 26

Curtis Adkison and The Fiddes Family

This will be a very special evening featuring Curtis Adkison and The Fiddes Family.  Curtis is a local guy that owns Fret Not Music Shop here in Bonham.  He’s an incredible musician in his own right, and, as it turns out, he is one of the few mentors around that teaches, actually passing along and training young players the nuances of the bluegrass style.  The Fiddes Family are some fanstatic young players that live here in Texoma, that Curtis works with.  They have a bluegrass festival to play in the next few weeks and we will be their “dress rehearsal.”  Please some and support our local talent and let them blow you away!

October 3

River Driver

River Driver is an Irish Folk Rock band rising to the top of the heap.  They have a hard hitting and super creative style that will have you groovin’ right along with them. It’s not very often you run across a group that’s like “Riverdance on steroids.”  This will be a great eveing in the Garden!

October 10

Michael Tuck

For the October 10th show this fall, we are excited to welcome back the talented Michael Tuck. If you caught his show this past June, you already know why we asked him back so soon. Michael plays lead guitar with Pat Green by day, and then does a Clark Kent/Superman switcheroo, and really is one of the finest guitar players you will hear. He excels in every style, but he plays some incredible “chicken picken” guitar. It’s a show you don’t want to miss!

October 17

The Buzz Andrews Band

Buzz has been playing all over North Texas for over 20 years. From Johnny Cash to Merle to Sting to Grand Funk Railroad to Clapton – no one does it better!  He and his band will entertain your socks off and send you home with a huge grin.  We hope to see you there!

October 24

Uptown Drifters

The Uptown Drifters will be closing out our fall concert series with their special brand of Texas Swing.  There is something real cool about Texas Swing and The Uptown Drifters will absolutely blow the roof off for us. Come out and celebrate the eveing with us!
