Darcy Joy Mertz

Artist Darcy Joy Mertz loves working with watercolors, accented with gouache, ink, and color
pencil often featuring strong contrasts between darks and lights. She also enjoys pen and ink,
and graphite drawing.

Her artwork reflects the love and admiration she has for historic buildings, and all things
historic, and frequently draws inspiration from historic buildings like those from ancient Rome
and other treasures from the past.
