Volunteers are needed to help craft a Collaborative Crazy Quilt. This quilt will be a celebration of our nation’s 250th anniversary and therefore, be primarily red, white and blue.
We have 6 workdays planned. Two per month in March, April and May. We anticipate that volunteers will also continue work at home in between the planned workdays. Volunteers are encouraged to come to all of the workdays. However, we still welcome the help even if you have to miss some workdays. Volunteers can also choose to come to one or more of our monthly Sip & Stitch meetings, one Thursday night per month from 6-8 pm.
This collaborative creation be raffled off for the benefit of the Creative Arts Center. Raffle tickets will be on sale throughout July and the drawing will be at the end of the Quilt Hop weekend on July 24 & 25. The quilt will be included in the July art show: Textures & Textiles at the art center.
Donations of materials for this project will also be welcomed. Be on the lookout for fabrics, lace, embroidery thread, buttons, and yarn in red, white, and blue, gold and silver.

Additionally, volunteers are invited to come to our monthly Sip & Stitch to continue work on the collaborative quilt.

While is is free to participate, we would kindly ask volunteers to let us know which workdays they are coming to, so we can prepare the appropriate amount of tables, chairs and space for this group.
